Knox Box

What is it?

The Knox-Box system is a rapid entry program developed for a quick access to a residence or business in the event on an emergency. Fire and EMS personnel can open the Knox-Box using a master key or a tone generated by the 911 control center. Inside the Knox-Box, the owner can place the property key, swipe cards, and floor plans to the building. This method speeds the entry to a building and helps prevent damage. Without the Knox-Box, forced entries can cost the property owner a substantial amount to replace the door and window, which may fall within the insurance deductible. Knox-Box entry system was developed to save property and lives.
